The Tai Rosso grape is genetically related to the French Grenache and the Spanish Garnacha. In the distinctive terroir of the Colli Berici — an ancient seabed rich in limestone and red clay — it develops a character all of its own: more elegant, with softer tannins and greater mineral freshness.

Unlike many light patio rosés, Dal Maso’s Tai Rosso stands out for its remarkable structure.

  • Colour: A beautiful, bright cherry-pink colour that immediately stands out in the glass.
  • Aroma: Intense notes of wild strawberries, raspberries, and rosehip, often complemented by a subtle spicy touch that is typical of the Tai Rosso grape.
  • Food pairings: Excellent with Italian cuisine, such as pasta with sardines or lightly seasoned white meat.
  • Local tradition: In the Vicenza region, Tai Rosso is traditionally enjoyed with the local speciality Baccalà alla Vicentina (salt cod), and the rosé version is a wonderfully fresh alternative there.
