The Amarone Riserva from Buglioni is not just another Amarone, but a true single-vineyard “cru” from the heart of Valpolicella. Only the finest grapes from one carefully selected vineyard parcel are used, allowing the wine to express the pure character of its terroir — the soil, microclimate, and the age of the vines all come together in a single bottle.

The grapes — primarily Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella, with smaller amounts of Oseleta and Croatina — are harvested by hand and then dried for several months using the traditional appassimento method. During this process the grapes slowly lose moisture, concentrating their sugars, structure, and aromas, which gives Amarone its signature depth and richness.

After fermentation, the wine is aged for around three years in oak barrels, followed by at least two additional years of bottle aging before release. The result is a powerful yet elegant wine with complex aromas of ripe cherries, dark berries, spices, and subtle balsamic notes.

What truly makes this Riserva special is its limited production and release only in the best vintages. It is an Amarone that combines intensity with refinement and offers excellent aging potential — a wine created for truly memorable moments.
